The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Albania in Islamabad

The Honorary Consulate will provide assistance and guidance to the citizens of Albania who visit or stay in Pakistan. The Ambassador of Albania in Ankara, Turkiye, Her Excellency Blerta Kadzadej, is accredited to Pakistan as a non-resident Ambassador. Therefore, the Honorary Consulate also represents the Embassy of Albania at official events and functions in Pakistan.

The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Albania in Islamabad was established in January 2023. The Government of Albania is headed by Prime Minister Edi Rama. Ms. Tahseen Sayed Khan was appointed as the Honorary Consul by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Albania, with the agreement of the Government of Pakistan. She is an accomplished development professional with an illustrious career spanning over thirty years. With a keen focus on leadership, policy analysis, strategy formulation, and project development, Ms. Tahseen Sayed Khan has led transformative change in various regions, including South Asia, Europe and the Caribbean.

The opening of the Honorary Consulate in Islamabad is a significant milestone and will contribute towards building deeper engagement and collaboration between Albania and Pakistan, especially in the area of tourism, trade and investment.
